POLICE have killed a free-roaming canine after it mauled two folks in a residential road.
The vicious animal was roaming Morley Road in Rochdale, Manchester when it attacked two folks on Friday evening.
Officers have been known as to the realm at round 9.30pm and located the canine “appearing in an aggressive method”.
The 2 individuals who reported being bitten by the canine weren’t severely injured.
On account of the incident, police say the canine was killed as a security precaution.
A Better Manchester Police spokesman mentioned in an announcement: “At round 9.30pm final evening (Friday August 6), police have been known as to studies of a canine on the free in Morley Road, Rochdale.
“Officers attended and located that two members of the general public had been bitten by an aggressive canine.
“Sadly, because of the nature of the occasion, because of the variety of folks within the space and the accidents triggered, the canine was humanely euthanized for security causes.
“The investigation is ongoing. No critical accidents have been reported.”
